On Nnenna’s Nails #2: Snowflakes on My Fingers

As soon as I saw this post on Nailside, I knew I had to try to recreate this look!  The snowflake design is so classically winter and I love the combination of sky blue and sparkly silver.  I think I did fairly well drawing the snowflakes on my left hand (with my dominant right hand), but since I’m useless with my left hand, I decided to opt out of snowflakes and threw on some glitter instead.  Still festive and much easier to do! :)

I would love for you to share any links to other festive/wintry nails in the comments below!

  3. your nails came out great. I am the worst when it comes to polishing my nails. I always get impatient and wind up making a mess of the whole thing.

You should try this quick dry spray that I recently picked up from Sephora! It’s awesome because it makes the whole process much faster and you’re not waiting forever for them to dry!

Yep, totally free-hand, that’s why I couldn’t do my right hand! haha :) Right now I’m in a metallic/sparkly mood because of the holidays. I’m still searching for the perfect metallic silver!

This is super cute! I commend you on the creativity you show with your nails. I’m just too lazy to keep up with mine. Nnenna darling you simply must tell me how you got that beautiful Etsy widget on the side of your page. Your knits look fantastic. I would love to feature my jewelry the same way.

      Hi Stacey Kay!

So sorry it took me ages to respond and thanks for your sweet comment! As far as the Etsy widget, if you sign into Etsy, click the “your shop” at the top of the page, and then look in the left sidebar, you should see a link to something called “etsy mini”. Then you can customize this widget and get the html to display on your site. Hope this helps and let me know if you run into any problems!
