On Nnenna’s Nails #5: Like an Astronaut!

Silver* Joe Fresh Tin, Purple* Zoya Neeka, Gold* Nails Inc. Lanesborough Place

So I call these my astronaut nails! I was hunting for the perfect metallic silver for a while and I think I found it at Joe Fresh! This color totally makes me think of outer space and bloggy friend Janette said that it reminded her of the show Roswell (which I’ve never seen, but it’s apparently about aliens, so I can see the connection!). For my accent nail, I chose a purple with glitter flecks from Zoya Nail polish. However, upon closer inspection, I realized that the glitter flecks were gold. I wasn’t happy with the overall look, so I switched up the accent nail to gold. It think the silver and gold look better together- like mixing metals!

Tell me: Which one do you like better?

  Yep, that’s just two coats of the silver! It went on a little streaky on the first coat, but that’s easily fixed in round two. Also, I’ve decided that I like the silver and gold better without a top coat- it makes the metallic truer :)

Oooh! I like the purple! BTW, did you get your Zoya polishes yet (I think I remember you tweeting that you ordered some when they were doing that promotion). I ordered mine a while ago and still haven’t gotten them…but I suppose maybe it’ll take a while since they have to ground ship them.
