The Correspondence Club is still going strong and we’ve already got several new members signed up for next month!  Right now, we have people from the United States, Canada, the United Kindgom, Norway, and Australia and soon we’ll be adding Italy to the list.  I think it’s great that bloggers from all over the world can connect in another way, through the art of letter writing :)

Do you want to join the Correspondence Club for May?  We’d love to have you!  If you would like to participate in May, please send me your information by midnight tonight (April 30th at 11:59pm EST).

Two outfit posts in one week, what is this?! :) Haha, well I decided I should try to be more timely with the pictures I take and not to post them months later! On Wednesday, I attended the Poshmark App Posh Party with Alex.  The party took place in the Liberty Hall of Ace Hotel (note to self: This place was hopping and seems like a great spot to grab drinks with friends sometime!), but before we headed over, we had to take outfit pictures, naturally!  These were taken in my neighborhood, right off Astor Place.  I think this was the first time Alex and I have taken pictures in such a crowded area, so we definitely had people looking at us.  I always wonder what they think we’re doing! ;)

I caught Alex (above) smiling! Hehehe! :)

At the Poshmark party, we had a great time hanging out with several bloggers from The Bloggers’ Collective who we had met previously at the swap they hosted back in March.  It was great to sip on drinks and chat with these ladies and later we took some fun/silly pictures in the photobooth (you all know how much I love a good photobooth!)  I also had the opportunity to meet Hope from A Flattering Tale! She’s a member of the Correspondence Club and we’ve emailed back and forth before, so it was really awesome to be able to meet in person :)  Hopefully we’ll be hanging out with her again soon!

Diamond Stud Earrings c/o Anjolee

Hiya! How was your weekend?  This past Saturday in NYC was gorgeous weather-wise, so I took the opportunity to visit the Brooklyn Flea with a couple of my friends.  I wanted to be comfortable because I knew I would be doing a lot of walking around, so I chose to wear this lightweight striped dress from Lulu’s (that I got on sale for $7!).  On top, I wore this dusty rose cargo jacket from H&M that I wear to death in the spring- it’s the perfect lightweight jacket and I feel like it goes well with everything!  Lastly, I added these diamond stud earrings that the lovely people at Anjolee sent to me.  I love their pretty petal shape and thought it would be fun to add a little bit of sparkle to this casual outfit with these diamond studs!

My friends Babe (top) and Arianna (bottom)- they’re such goofballs!

Aren’t Ariana’s silver sneakers so cool?  This lady even stopped her at the Brooklyn Flea to ask where she had purchased them!  It was our first time visiting the Fort Greene location and it was so fun to browse all of the shops and discover little hidden treasures everywhere.  I had lots of people to shop for (birthday presents, mother’s day, and such) and I found some gifts for them that I think they will absolutely love.  After shopping at the Flea, we decided to take a little break in this playground that I had spotted earlier that day.  We had a blast goofing around on the jungle gym for a little while, then we decided we better get out of the way of the little kids who were already playing there :)

More pictures from the Brooklyn Flea coming later this week! :)
