On Nnenna’s Nails #12: Sherbet Colors

Top: Rimmel London* English Rose // Bottom: Wet N’ Wild* Sunny Side Up

Every time I go to the drugstore, I really cannot resist checking out the nail polish section.  Back in high school, my friend and I had a weekly tradition of visiting our local Rite Aid and buying a new bottle of nail polish.  Now I try not to buy new nail polish on every trip to the drugstore because that certainly adds up over time, but when I saw this orange polish for under $1 at Kmart, I caved and bought it.

Now let me be clear, orange is my least favorite color, but for some reason, I can wear it on my nails and it doesn’t bother me!  I wasn’t 100% sure how this shade would look on me, but at 99 cents I was willing to give it a try.  Turns out I love how bright it looks on my nails!  Another spring favorite polish is this pretty dusty rose by Rimmel London.  The thing I love about the Rimmel polishes is the double brush- it makes painting my nails a breeze!  These two colors remind me of warm weather and sherbet- I’m thinking the top is a strawberry sherbet and the bottom color is orange sherbet :)

Tell me: What nail polish color just says “Spring!” to you?

I would have never gravitated towards the orange polish but I really like the way the color looks on your nails.
