There’s always a lot of pressure to find the perfect outfit to wear on New Year’s Eve. I tried on many sparkly and sequined options, but none of them were a hit for me. Then I veered off in a completely different direction with this mint green lace minidress. I absolutely love the color and although it’s far too short for me to wear to work, I can see myself wearing this again for a party or an event.

I was also thrilled to have my friend Wambura visiting the city for NYE. She looked fantastic in her sparkly black peplum top and sleek back pants (I especially loved the studded detail on the pockets). In the last photo we of course had to snap a quick roommate picture since Kiet was looking rather dapper as well.

      When I bought this dress I hadn’t been to a Forever 21 in months and the one in my hometown is huge, so I think I spent a grand total of about 4 hours in there! There were having a major sale though so I walked away with a lot of good deals :)
