Lulu’s NYFW Style Studio

I was so excited when I heard that Lulu’s was hosting their Style Studio event this season! It was so much fun last year and I couldn’t wait to have a mini-reunion with some of my blogger friends.

The event was held in a different venue this year and I think it was even better than last time! When we first walked in, we checked in at the front table where we received a cute tote that says “Lulu’s Style Studio.” All around the room, there were tables set up by the sponsors. We went around to each table to learn more about the products featured and we were allowed to take samples too.

There were also stations where you could get different beauty treatments. For example, you could get your makeup done at the Nyx Comestics table, you could get feather extensions at the Fine Featherheads table and you could get your nails done at the Jamberry Nails table. We also had the opportunity to “be the buyer” for the Lulu’s website.  They had some sample clothes on display and you could take a quick survey to mark if you loved the item or how you would change it if you didn’t quite love it.

Tasty cocktails were provided all night by Hpnotiq- my favorite was the Blue Bombshell!

At the beginning of the night we were given a little Style Studio map that was designed to lead you to your style profile. The five styles featured were Edgy, Uptown Prep, Bombshell, Sweetheart, and Bohemian (I think I landed somewhere between Uptown Prep and Sweetheart). When it was your turn to go upstairs, you were allowed to choose any item you wanted to take home with you! I tried to keep my closet resolutions in mind and pick a more classic piece that I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of; I ended up with this pretty little striped dress.

Lulu’s Style Studio is always a blast- I’m already looking forward to next year. Thank you again to Lulu’s for a fantastic event and see below for a full list of the night’s sponsors!
