I can’t say this American-themed outfit happened by accident. That morning, I put on the white tee and navy skirt and knew the perfect way to finish off this look would be with my red cardigan. This skirt is long enough to wear to work, is perfect for twirling, and has polka dots- win, win, win!

Do you guys have any fun things planned for this weekend? My friend’s birthday is on Sunday, so I’ll be heading to her place for a little birthday celebration. Other than that, I’m thinking it will be a pretty quiet weekend. I’ve been feeling sleep-deprived and headachy for the past few weeks, even though my sleep schedule hasn’t really changed, so I’m going to try to really rest up this weekend!

Outfit Details: Cardigan, Skirt, Necklace- Forever 21 // Sunglasses- H&M // Purse-Ruche // Shoes- Lucky Brand via TJ Maxx // Lips- NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl (all photos of me taken by my friend Babe- thanks lady!)

Ha, you’d fit right in at my office today. In honor of Flag Day my boss decreed we could put up decorations and dress (“tastefully” per the email) in r/w/b–I completely forgot and I think I’m the only one who’s in a different color! The red especially looks great on you.

I too shall be catching up on rest this weekend, and maybe checking out the local county fair before it ends on Sunday. We’ll see, I might sleep right through it!

I love red and navy paired together. It’s such a great combo…guess that’s why they chose it for the flag…haha.
