Gray on the Waterfront

Gray on the Waterfront 1

Here’s the final post from my Boston trip! On my last day in Boston it was overcast for most of the morning, but that didn’t stop us from getting an early start to the day. After grabbing a bagel and coffee, we headed down to the historic old Boston (I saw lots more tourists here, compared to the other places we visited). It’s crazy to think that certain buildings have been standing for hundreds of years and I like to try to imagine what it would have been like back then.

Afterwards, we headed down to the Italian district of Boston to get some cannolis from Mike’s Pastry and we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Pauli’s. I had such a good time and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Until next time Boston!

I hate it when it’s all dark and grey, but I bet your cannoli brightened things up! Was the line there out the door? it has been whenever I’ve passed by.

No, no line when I went! It was all very quick and efficient (and I love the way they use string from the ceiling to tie everything up!).

I know, remember when all bakeries used string? Now they all just use icky tape.

String is so much prettier than tape and you can reuse it!
