San Carlos, Mexico 01.

Partly because I was pretty sleep-deprived throughout the whole trip and partly because I couldn’t believe I’d actually made it! After a plane ride, a bit of walking, another plane ride, and a mini road trip, we finally arrived at our destination of San Carlos, Mexico where the wedding was held. san carlos, mexcio, sonora, beach, palm trees, san carlos plaza san carlos, mexcio, sonora, beach, palm trees, san carlos plaza

This is the gang I traveled with throughout the trip. I hadn’t seen these lovely folks in nearly a year or longer, so it was wonderful to reunite with them. We stayed at the San Carlos Plaza, which was right on the beach. By the time we arrived, we were itching to get out of the travel clothes we’d been in for hours and explore what the hotel had to offer.

Not only was the hotel on the beach, but it also had a spectacular pool area as well. For some reason I hadn’t fully realized how warm it would be, but luckily I’d packed a few dresses for the trip. I threw one of these on and then ran down to the beach to dip my toes in the water. I love standing in the ocean and feeling the water rush over my feet as the sand moves underneath me.

These pictures are gorgeous! I feel like several of them could be featured in a catalog for this hotel. The water can’t be that blue, can it?
