Weekly Wishes 06.

I didn’t do too badly with last week’s goals. I did order my holiday cards last Tuesday and I think they might arrive this week! I made them online and I can’t wait to see what the finished product looks like. I also brainstormed some ideas for gifts. Come this Friday, I’ll probably be shopping for these gifts from the comfort of my bed (no battling the crowds for me!). I also started The Circle, which I’m enjoying so far.

This week I want to…

– help my friend plan our Thanksgiving menu. For the past five years, I’ve been spending Thanksgiving with my good friend from college and her family. It’s too far for me to travel back home to CA during this short break, so I’m happy I’ve found a second home here. I spend a few nights at her home and we always spend all day Thursday cooking together. It’s fun and low-key and I can’t wait to stuff my face on turkey day.

– finish a little knitting project that I’m working on. That’s right, I’ve picked up my knitting needles again! I made one project earlier this year, but since then I haven’t knit anything, which is a shame. The project I’m working on is a test knit, so I won’t be able to share pictures, but I can say that it’s a cute little hat. I’m happy to be knitting again (the colder weather just makes me want to be snuggled on my couch with my knitting) and I might choose a project for myself to start soon.

– see the new Hunger Games movie! Has anyone seen it yet?

Tell me: What are your goals for this week?

  5. All the best with the knitting! The Hunger Games awesome, yet frustrating at the end. You will get what I mean when you’ve watch it. I’m hoping to mail out Christmas greeting cards this week. Exciting!
