When I was scrolling through my Twitter feed and saw Léa Seydoux’s dress, I had to do a double-take. I think her yellow dress (and the whole look, really) is so dreamy. A few years ago, yellow was one of my least favorite colors, but at some point that changed. I actually painted my walls pale yellow a couple years ago- talk about a change of opinion! Now I think of yellow as such a happy color and in these dreary winter days it feels like a breath of fresh air.

I never wear yellow but every time I see a celebrity wearing a yellow gown on a red carpet I think, “wow, showstopper.” Maybe the universe is trying to tell me to wear more yellow?

You know, I don’t wear a ton of yellow either, but I have the same thoughts. I think it’s because yellow is such a standout color. When it’s done right, it’s really eye-catching!

  3. I love love yellow! But I’ll have to admit, I rarely see yellow items around.. shops need to sell more yellow stuff. I am lusting over this long sleeved blouse and michael kors bag!

I made the switch from anti-yellow to pro-yellow a few years back myself, and I must agree, that dress is indeed dreamy.

It’s so funny how our likes and dislikes can change with time, isn’t it? I can tell that dress moves beautifully. It’s so flowy, and I LOVE flowy.

This was such a gorgeous dress, right? I love a really rich yellow, but the very pale ones seem to wash me out.
