I’m on the hunt for a new spring jacket. I was trying to decide on a silhouette and I noticed the drapey trench popping up everywhere. I like this twist on the classic trench coat. They’re usually made of a lightweight material and I think they give outfits a relaxed polish. As you can see above, stores are carrying them in pretty, light colors that are perfect for spring. I’ve definitely decided that I want a colored coat and I’m leaning towards a blush/pink coat, grey, or perhaps light blue. I may still end up going for a more structured coat, like this pretty pink coat that I have my eye on. What do you think of the drapey trench?

![It's a very belated book haul! These are the four books I picked up on my trip to Australia back in May. Of course I had to check out some bookstores on my first trip to Sydney and I think I ended up visiting 9 in total (check out my stories to see the mini bookstore vlog I made)!

It was so fun book shopping over there since majority of the covers are different from our US covers. I couldn't resist this pretty edition of PACHINKO, which I've already read. And when I picked up this copy of PEOPLE PERSON, I was so excited to see it because it wasn't out yet in the US at that time. I also bought two books that I hadn't heard of before I discovered them in the bookstore: IDOL and LOVE AND OTHER PUZZLES.

I experimented with this one with a H&M version! I actually love it! I was hesitant at first but trying it with H&M makes me feel like I can invest in one later if i wanted or just get rid of it if I’m tired of it. =)

I was thinking the same, since it’s more of a trendy item. The ones from Forever 21 in particular are really affordable!
I think it’s a great style – not too far from the classic design, though I suppose the big issue is what color to get!

I have to say that my favorite is the pink one, but price-wise I’d probably go for the light grey.
