Here are a few (okay, a lot!) of nail polish colors that I’m loving for fall. You can never have too much nail polish, right? When the temperatures drop, I tend to gravitate towards deep, rich colors. I usually like to have a pop of color on my nails, but I’ve also been thinking about trying some neutral colors. It might be a fun change from my norm!

Generally, I don’t fuss much with my hair. Most mornings I don’t have time to do anything more than straighten my bangs. If I’m being really ambitious and/or trying to be fancy, I’ll curl my hair (I still don’t think I’m good at this yet!). NYFW is one of the few times a year I actually bother trying to make my hair look like it’s been styled, so I turned to Pinterest for some easy hairstyles that I could maybe recreate. In an ideal world, look #1 would be my everyday hair, but alas, my curling iron skills are still lacking. Looks #4 and #5 seem pretty easy and I love how simple and girly look #2 is. Look #3 seems the hardest to me (french braid into a regular braid, wrapped around), but I still have a couple more days to practice, right?
Tell me: How do you usually wear your hair?
I love the look of hot pink lips (and so does my roomie- he might be more obsessed than I am). I’ve been searching for the perfect shade for a while, and I have one pink color that I like, but it’s still not exactly what I’m looking for. I feel like hot pink can easily look garish against my dark skin, so I might be leaning towards a matte color- still bright, but not so glossy. Here are a few colors that I found while looking online…

Do you have any particular hot pink shades that you like?
I’m curious to know- do you guys wear perfume at all? If you do, do you have one signature scent or do you like to wear different scents throughout the day? I myself fall into the second category- I put on a little perfume every morning and if I’m going out at night I’ll reapply the same fragrance or put on a new one. I like my daytime fragrances to be light and fresh, while my nighttime perfumes are a little more bold.
Have you heard of the new perfume from Vera Wang- Vera Wang Be Jeweled? It has several fruity notes, such passion fruit, pomegranate and currant and is described as “sprited, feminine and independent.” The bottle is very girly with a pink crystal shape and jewel embellishments. I can definitely see myself spritzing this on a night before meeting up for drinks with some girlfriends. Check out the video with ballet dancer-turned-model (how cool is that?) Laura Love and let me know what you think in the comments below if you’ve tried this perfume!
