I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again- I definitely prefer matte lips on myself. I like a glossy lip on other people and think that it can be a really fun look, but I’ve found that matte lips just suit me better. That doesn’t stop me from picking up the occasional glossy lip product though. The other day I grabbed one of the newish Revlon Moisture Stains because I was curious and had heard good things. When I first tried it on, I wasn’t really sure about the color or the gloss. After wearing it for a bit, I decided I do like it a lot more when the color sinks in a bit and the gloss fades away. Anyways, I want to hear your thoughts on this!
Tell me: Do you prefer matte lips or glossy lips?
Coral lips have been trending for a while now, but I’m still on the hunt for the perfect shade. I remember picking out my first red lipstick and feeling rather apprehensive, but eventually I came around and I now have a better idea of what suits me. I’d like to branch out from red and I think that coral is a great choice for summer. I love how vibrant coral lips look on other people, but of course you have to pick the shade that suits you best. I think I’m looking for something that leans toward the red spectrum and definitely something deeper in color, rather than lighter. I need your help- let me know if you can think of any coral lip colors that might suit me!
Tell me: Would you wear a coral lip?

You guys already know that I’m a nail polish addict, so I thought I’d show you a few colors that I’ve tried out recently. I paint my nails one or two times a week and I usually document it all on instagram. As we’ve moved from spring to summer, I’ve transitioned from the pastels to brighter, bolder colors. I used to be all about the nail art, but in the past year or so, I’ve found myself preferring a manicure in one single solid color.
Tell me: What’s your go-to color for summer?

You know how it’s impossible to go to Target and only buy one thing? That’s kind of how am I with the drugstore- I’ll go in with one or two items on my list and leave with a bunch of extra stuff (usually beauty bits). I get coupons for my local CVS emailed to me, so I like to take advantage whenever there’s a good deal (which is all the time). Today I thought I’d share a few beauty products that I’ve picked up over the last few weeks thanks to some good coupons. If you’ve tried any of these things, let me know what you thought of them in the comments below. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
P.S. I’m thinking of talking about one of my favorite subjects in the next video- books! Any interest?
