This is not the first time you’ve heard me say it- the streets of New York are downright mean to shoes. I’ve given up on the idea of wearing any shoe with a substantial heel regularly, which means that I need to stock my closet with a couple pairs of chic, flat shoes that will get me through fall and winter. I’ve been leaning towards purchasing a pair of chelsea boots because I think it’s a style that I can wear with anything. Want some proof? Take a look at the inspiration looks that I pulled below!
Tell me: Do you have a pair of chelsea boots? Which one above is your favorite?

I’m currently searching for the perfect ankle boots for fall, which is no easy task. I have a few conditions: they have to be affordable, comfortable (since I walk to and from work), durable (the streets of NYC are not particularly kind to shoes), and versatile. See what I mean? Not so easy! These are a few options that I like so far and I hoping to make it in to the store later this week to try some of these on.
Tell me: What type(s) of shoes are on your fall wish list?
You know me- if there’s a holiday I have to have some appropriately themed nails! For Easter, I knew I wanted to rock some pastels on my nails, so I picked some of my lightest and softest shades to paint a different color on each nail. The purple nail polish on my thumb is a recent acquisition and I just love that color- I’ll probably be changing my mani to just that color soon! Also, you can just barely tell in the picture above, but I added a sheer layer of glitter on top of each color to finish the manicure off :) If you want to see more manicures I’m loving, check out my “Nail Inspiration” Pinterest board!
P.S. I’ve also got a new post on the New New Etsy Team blog today about some pretty Mother’s Day cards- it’s not too early start thinking about it! =)
P.P.S. I’m having a spring sale in my etsy shop! You can take 25% off any item in the shop with the code SCSSPRING!
