1. The t-shirt scarf in the middle I made through the tutorial on Made This/Love This. If you haven’t joined yet, it is really easy to do so and I’m looking forward to doing more DIY projects alongside other people. This one only took about 15 minutes to make and the result is a very cute accessory!
2. I got the idea for this little ring from Jamie of Blog Redhead. Also, very simple to make- take a cute button and glue it to the top of a ring band and voilà, you’ve made yourself a ring! This ring band came from a ring I bought where the top fell off, but I saved the band. The button came from my collection of buttons that I store in the tin boxes (on the left) that I decorated myself. Easy peasy way to make a unique ring!

Looking at the ring again, I wish I had made it sooner because it would have looked really cute with this outfit! Oh well, next time! =)
Thank you!! Can't wait to see your version of the tee scarf! :)
Thanks Sam, I'm more than happy to share the link! :)
Aww, thanks Kiah!! :D
Yes, that's the problem! There are so many I find on other blogs and want to try, so I just bookmark them for later. That sounds like another fun easy way to make a ring, plus you can change it back to a brooch when you want to! I really like the look of brooches, but I don't own any myself and don't really know how to wear them!
Love the scarf you made! definitely going to try it :)
Would love to try some DIY projects if I wasn't so lazy!

i love DIY projects! so thanks for the link! and good job!!
Love the bright nails and that outfit is adorable. I love the floral skirt
I love this outfit. That skirt is super cute!! You have the greatest DIYs!!! Kiah
That ring is so cute! Honestly I don't think that I have ever done a DIY, but I'm planning to sew a skirt soon :) xo
I've always admired DIYs but I don't do them often. Someday I'll find the time! The other day on a whim I clipped a big brooch onto a plain ring band; sort of an instant statement ring! I have a bunch of brooches that belonged to my great-grandmother so it was a fun way to use them. (:
I love that oatmealy sweater!
xoxo
Super easy and you probably have the materials lying around the house already! :) Thank you Courtney- it's one of my fave thrifted finds!
Thanks Laura! Hahaha, yep, that's what happens when I come up with post titles late at night ;)
I love that ring idea – and it sounds easy enough for even me to do. On another note, your off-white sweater in the outfit shots is soooo pretty!

I LOOOVE your outfit here!! and that necklace! I want to try that but maybe adding some chains in
that scarf is so cute and light! and the button ring idea is genius! p.s. serious lol-ing occurred when i got your gettin jiggy with it reference haha
i've heard of the tee scarf! I've been wanting to try it out (i'm too busy to do it just now), and that is a very cute idea for a ring and so simple. I have tons of old ring from my mom's hideous 1980's blazers (so basically BIG and bronze looking buttons) that I would love to do this with…I wonder if that would work?
