Look at some of the lovely goodies that I’ve picked up on etsy recently!
Molly the Greeting Card Designer Button Badge// Pop Pop Portraits
White Writing Paper: Camera // isavirtue
Denis- Printed Vintage Blue Rose Earrings // Mon Cadeau
Growing a House Postcard // IrenaSophia
Cute Sad Girl // Munieca
Book Lover Librarian- Emma Loves to Read Print // Flapperdoodle
That cute button has made a nice addition to my favorite tote bag and the prints I picked up will soon be decorating a blank spot on the wall in my bedroom. Those dainty little earrings were a birthday gift for a friend, who loved them! I’d also been coveting some pretty stationary from Kaityln’s shop for a while, so I’m so glad I was finally able to get my hands on some. Suffice to say that somebody in my life will be receiving a handwritten note very soon :)
For this holiday season, I’ve decided that I want to shop handmade or DIY my gifts as much as possible. Knowing firsthand how much work goes into making and selling your crafts, I want to do all I can to support all the small businesses out there on etsy and elsewhere! Plus, crafting some of your own gifts and/or holiday decorations can be so much fun! I’ll be putting together some holiday gift guides over the next few weeks, which means I’ll be spending lots of time browsing etsy and sharing what I find! If you have any etsy shop recommendations, do leave them in the comments below and don’t forget to check out all the lovely shops featured above! :)
Speaking of etsy shops, today is the last day you can enter my birthday month giveaway to win an item from my shop! You better hurry! ;)
I love that Flapperdoodle print! She does such cool work.

I love handmade stuff!!! The artists on etsy are great– unique and personal artwork! so much fun!
Of course, I love the camera paper :) What happened to your shopping ban… or does that not include non-clothing items, haha. Good way to get around that.
I love bayousalvage’s little ruffle bags http://www.etsy.com/shop/bayousalvage
And I just found Luminology from the front page http://www.etsy.com/shop/Luminology
Haha, I bought this stuff about a month ago, pre-shopping ban! But yes, that would be a good way to get around it :D
Thanks for the recommendations! I will definitely check them out =)
Love your nails in this picture!
ps. I also support handmade jewellery although most of the times I break them and I m really upset!:(
these are all so sweet! I love pop pop portraits!
I recommend my shop. Heheheheehehe! Although buying VINTAGE for others probably isn’t too likely to happen.
I too want to start buying more handmade stuff. Especially when it comes to jewelry. I NEED more jewelry, and there is so much unique stuff on Etsy for me to get. It’s a win win, you know? There’s this one shop–laonato–that I think you first faved and I saw because of it and was like, hello! It’s so my style! So HOPEFULLY in the next few months I’ll pick up some stuff there, and then I’ll buy something from your shop, and then I’ll be rockin’.
You have pretty vintage jewelry that would make a great gift :) There is sooo much jewelry that I want on etsy, just have to obtain the funds first!
I love everything you got! I agree about buying handmade for Christmas gifts. I’ve been doing that for the past few years, and it’s so much more personal to give someone a gift that has been made by hand, maybe even one-of-a-kind. And Etsy has options for every taste, style, and budget, you know? By the way, your Etsy shop is really cute too!! :)
Thank you so much Mary! I’m so excited to start browsing etsy for lovely handmade gifts :)
Good call on trying to buy independently this holiday – I can only imagine the hours that go into putting together a great etsy shop.
And it looks like it’s November 10th…which means…HAPPY BIRTHDAY NNENNA :)

Great designs, they are beautiful. I am following you blog now. Have a lovely weekend! <3<3
Thank you so much for following! Hope you are having a good week :)
Cool purchases!!!
This is a fabulous plan for holiday gifting. I can think of so many cute items for hostess gifts from Etsy rather than the standard bottle of wine (and so much more fun!).
So many wonderful things! I love Etsy. I wish I had put more thought into where I was shopping for gifts this year for Christmas because I am almost done, yet that is such a good idea to shop handmade. LOVE that idea!
To answer your question, the museum was the Getty in Los Angeles. I would recommend going if you are in the area!
Thanks Shawna and thank you for letting me know the name of the museum- I definitely want to check it out someday :)
Wow those are some super cute gift ideas :)
