While I was in California, I wore this outfit to meet up for dinner with my godmother and my mom. It was nice to be able to catch up with both of them, just us girls. Now that I’m able to return home less and less, I really cherish the time that I do get to spend with my family.
Speaking of family, it was really great having both my sister and my cousins from London in town last week! I enjoyed taking them around the city to see some of my favorite sights and I can’t believe how quickly their visit flew by. After galavanting about the city with them all week, I must admit that I was happy to slow things down this weekend. I spent Friday and Saturday laying about and catching up on sleep and then on Sunday I met up with my friend Babe to visit the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn. All in all, a low-key weekend- just as I wanted it to be :) How was your weekend?
I really love this on you, that pale pink skirt is really pretty. And I’m glad you had a good time with your family being in town.

Thank you Courtney!
Your bag is great!
I had a weekend filled with nothing. Just eating, sleeping, reading ;)

Thanks Simone! Sounds really a great/relaxing weekend :)
I love low-key weekends. I’m a homebody so being at home reading a book or watching a movie is perfect for me. I love these colors on you, nnenna!
Thank you Laura! I’m totally a homebody too so it was so nice to have last weekend to myself :)
sometimes low key weekends are just what the doctor ordered :)

Thank you Angela! :)
Stopping over from One Woman’s Style and Evolution. Aha, I see you were also on tonight’s blogtrends chat. I over napped and missed most of the discussion. Great blog by the way. I love the design and layout and the approach. I just can’t with the blogs with the message that fashion = luxe. I love the outfit. I would have never thought to pair gray and salmon. I am looking forward to seeing more of your posts.
Yes I was at blogtrends too! After missing the last few weeks due to travel and such, I was happy to be back :)
Thanks so much for your sweet comments about my blog! I absolutely agree- you certainly do not have to spend a ton of money to be fashionable :)
I really love this “lady look”. I’m a sucker for anything pastel :-)
