Aaaand it’s Monday again. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good- on Saturday I participated in a photoshoot for a new online magazine called Stylish Sophisticate. After we wrapped up the shoot, I headed to a friend’s house to watch the Saints vs. Seahawks game. I don’t have a particular preference for either team, but my roomie is from New Orleans so I was rooting for the Saints a little bit.
Sunday was the ultimate lazy Sunday for me. I was extra tired for some reason so I spent a good chunk of the day in bed. I’ve been meaning to give audiobooks another try (I’ve never really been a fan but I wanted to try them again), so I started a new book- The Woman Upstairs by Claire Messud. In the evening, I turned on the TV to catch the Golden Globes. Can Amy and Tina please host all award shows for the rest of time?

![It's a very belated book haul! These are the four books I picked up on my trip to Australia back in May. Of course I had to check out some bookstores on my first trip to Sydney and I think I ended up visiting 9 in total (check out my stories to see the mini bookstore vlog I made)!

It was so fun book shopping over there since majority of the covers are different from our US covers. I couldn't resist this pretty edition of PACHINKO, which I've already read. And when I picked up this copy of PEOPLE PERSON, I was so excited to see it because it wasn't out yet in the US at that time. I also bought two books that I hadn't heard of before I discovered them in the bookstore: IDOL and LOVE AND OTHER PUZZLES.

Oh how exciting a photo shoot. I totally thought Lupita Nyong’o knocked it out of the park, she created quite a stir. Though not as much as Amy Poehler apparently. I think Taylor Swift fans need to reign it in a wee bit and have sense of humor. LOL.
