You guys already know that I’m a nail polish addict, so I thought I’d show you a few colors that I’ve tried out recently. I paint my nails one or two times a week and I usually document it all on instagram. As we’ve moved from spring to summer, I’ve transitioned from the pastels to brighter, bolder colors. I used to be all about the nail art, but in the past year or so, I’ve found myself preferring a manicure in one single solid color.
Tell me: What’s your go-to color for summer?
(starting top left, 1. Priti NYC September Charm, 2. Rimmel London Salon Pro Britpop, 3. Rimmel London Salon Pro Hip Hop, 4. N.Y.C. In a Minute Robin’s Egg Blue, 5. Rimmel London Salon Pro Purple Rain, 6. Revlon Parfumerie Apricot Nectar, 7. Essie Truth or Flare, 8. E.L.F. Nail Polish Teal Blue, 9. Nails Inc. Haymarket)
I usually go for coral, but I’ve found myself more drawn to baby blue and lilac this year!

I don’t think I have a lilac colored nail polish but it’s such a pretty color!
Really really like pastel yellow or/ peach and purple on you!

Thank you Katrina Sophia! I have a really bright yellow polish, but I’m still on the hunt for the perfect pastel yellow!
Oh I love all of these! I think my favorite is number 2
That’s one of the Rimmel Salon Pro nail polishes that I recently discovered and love so much :)
I love all kinds of colors. I know darker colors are typically reserved for colder months but, I like to experiment with everything. haha. But, when it comes down to it, I love classic red (bright) polish. It just looks good to me. =)

I love bright red nail polish too- it’s classic for a reason! I also bought a really pretty burgundy recently that I was going to save for fall, but who knows- it might call out to me soon :)
All of the colors is so pretty. I wish I could paint my nails as well as you do.
Aww, thank you! It’s taken me years of practice and I still mess up- thank goodness for nail polish remover and Q-tips! :)
I am running out to buy that blue Essie polish because of this post! Just discovered your blog and I’m loving your style
Thank you so much Grace! I hope you enjoy that Essie polish :)
