There's a couple weeks left in 2022 and here's a few books that are on the top of my TBR this month (thank you @seekingdystopia for tagging me and thank you to the publishers tagged below for the free copies)! Check out the books on my list below:

KISS HER ONCE FOR ME (via @atriabooks): This one I've actually finished already (✔️ for me!). I was in the mood for a holiday romance and this book was first up on my list.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FIVE SURVIVE (via @getunderlined): I also finished this a couple days ago and this book kept me on my toes. So nice to read a thriller that was actually thrilling!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
PEOPLE PERSON: I freaking loved QUEENIE, so I was very excited when I heard that Candice Carty-Williams was coming out with a new book. And I love the UK edition of this book, which I picked up when I was in Australia a few months ago.

AGE OF VICE (via @riverheadbooks, out 1/3): I was lucky enough to attend an event for this book a couple months ago and I finally started reading it this week. I'm not very far in, but I'm already intrigued by the story.

TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW by Gabrielle

TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW by Gabrielle Zevin (@aaknopf #gifted) • Everyone was raving about this book, including several people whose taste I trust, so I had to pick it up a few months ago. Well, y'all were right! I loved it and I thought this was a beautiful book, both inside and out.

It’s interesting to see how the friendship between Sam and Sadie, the two characters at the center of the novel, evolves over the years. At their best, Sadie and Sam really see and understand each other. They both describe how the intimacy they share is both different and in some ways better than their romantic relationships. But at the same time, there are things that they don’t know or misunderstand about each other, even after years of being friends.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These characters really grabbed me. This is definitely a slower-paced, more character-driven story. But every time I picked it up, I was excited to get back to these characters and read more about their lives. Zevin’s writing in this book was beautiful and I liked the way she played around with the writing style at certain points in the book.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As several people have mentioned, you do not have to be into video games at all to enjoy this book. It's about artistry, craft, relationships, and friendships that are difficult to categorize. It’s about the ability to build or escape to a world that’s better than the one we live in. This book was excellent and I’m not over these characters yet. I’ll be thinking about them for a while.

It's a very belated book haul! These are the four books I picked up on my trip to Australia back in May. Of course I had to check out some bookstores on my first trip to Sydney and I think I ended up visiting 9 in total (check out my stories to see the mini bookstore vlog I made)!

It was so fun book shopping over there since majority of the covers are different from our US covers. I couldn't resist this pretty edition of PACHINKO, which I've already read. And when I picked up this copy of PEOPLE PERSON, I was so excited to see it because it wasn't out yet in the US at that time. I also bought two books that I hadn't heard of before I discovered them in the bookstore: IDOL and LOVE AND OTHER PUZZLES.
