Before I left for California, Alex and I met up last week to grab a bite to eat. Even though the forecast was rain, rain, rain all week, we took advantage of the clear skies to snap a few pictures in Union Square.
Alex was rocking a hot pink denim skirt which I loved, even though she told me that people kept commenting on how blindingly bright it was. I wore my new dress from Oasap.com. What I love about this dress is the details- the cream lace that frames the neckline and the pretty pleats that make up the skirt of the dress. This dress is quite girly and sweet and I was going to pair it with something a little bit edgier, but let’s face it- I like dressing girly and sweet!

Did you have a good weekend? As you may have seen, I’m currently in California visiting my family and some of my closest friends. I arrived on Saturday after an early morning flight and it’s been so great to just relax and home and not worry about anything for a little while. Today I’m planning to do a little shopping at the mall (it’s been ages since I’ve been to one). Let’s just hope that I don’t get carried away! ;)

Oh what part of Cali? My sister is in Southern Orange County… I go back a couple times a year to visit my nephews :) I would definitely pair it with some edgy as well since I don’t like being too girlie hehe

One day I want us to try to get photos with the W Union Square in the background. It’s one of my favorite buildings in the entire city. We will have to dodge people wandering around, though.
