Dress- c/o eShakti // Cardigan- given to me by Alex // Purse- Lulu’s // Shoes- Payless
When Alex and I met to snap these outfit pictures, we lamented about how the days are already getting noticeably shorter. Before you know it, it will start to look like night in all of our pictures, even though it’s really only 5:30pm!
I was excited by a chance to review a dress from eShakti because I’ve heard such good things about the company from other blogger friends. One of their biggest selling points is that many of their clothes are customizable; for example, with the dresses you can adjust the dress length, the sleeve length, and neckline to suit your personal preferences.
I chose this pretty blue dress to review because I love the color and the cut. The material it’s made from is also nice and thick and feels like it will last for a long time. I picked the “above-the-knee” length because I tend to like my dresses on the shorter side, but I still wanted to make sure it was long enough for me to wear to work. I also kept the original sleeves of the dress because I really liked the black embroidered detail on the shoulders. The fit of this dress is generally spot-on, although I do have to mention that it’s a bit tight in the shoulders. Other than that, this dress is really wonderful and I know I’ll wear it again and again.
