Jacket, Necklace and Leggings- Forever 21 // Sweater- H&M // Boots-old // Ring- Amy O.
Thanks to Chris for taking these pictures!
This is what I wore for my one day of running around doing NYFW stuff. As you can imagine, Nemo kind of ruined my (and other people’s) outfit plans. I wanted to be comfortable because I knew I would be in the same outfit all day, but then I couldn’t wear the outfit I’d originally picked out because it was too darn cold or the shoes I originally planned to wear because I didn’t want them to be ruined by the snow/ice ! So I had to settle for wearing my combat boots- the only rough-weather boots I have really.
Despite the post-blizzard conditions, it was an all-around fun day. I had my first backstage experience for the Rafael Cennamo presentation, I hung out at the tents for a while, recharged with other members of The Blogger’s Collective at the Target Lounge, attended the second Lulu’s NYFW Style Studio (more to come on that later in the week), saw the Venexiana F/W 2013 show (check back later for my write-up) and indulged in a late-night Chinese food fest with Alex and Andrew. By the time I made it home I was exhausted and crawled into my bed gratefully.
I’m excited to go through all the snapshots I took over the weekend- stay tuned for lots of NYFW coverage on the blog this week!
Well, it may not be the outfit you planned to wear but it’s pretty awesome.

Thanks Courtney! :)
Combat boots unite! :)
Yes! Sadly these got rather dirty after tramping around in the snow/ice all day- I need to get them cleaned!
Sounds like such an exciting day! Glad you wore some sensible shoes and didn’t let the blizzard ruin all your fun.
Yes, I definitely had to wear sensible shoes- I wasn’t going to be one of those people slipping in their heels on the icy sidewalks!
How fabulous you look in leather! I am so excited to see all the photos you took, I’m a bit jealous of you lady ;)
Thank you Jenmarie! I’m so thankful for the opportunity to get a little taste of NYFW! :)
