Ahhh, it’s good to be back in NYC (and to be back on the blog)! I took a red-eye from LAX on Saturday night and got back to the city on Sunday morning. It was so nice to be home and see my family for Christmas, but I’m also happy to be back here in my cozy little bedroom.
Another nice thing about being on break is that I had plenty of time to take photos in daylight. Stay tuned, as this is the first of several outfit posts from CA! I brought a couple of fancier dresses with me and this LRD (little red dress) was one of them. After adding a statement necklace and a red lip, I was all gussied up and ready to go.
I borrowed these fun heart-shaped sunnies from my sister. I’d forgotten my own sunglasses at home, but luckily she had a spare pair for me in her car. And speaking of cars, here’s a fun little selfie that I took with my siblings that same day. I love these guys.

![It's a very belated book haul! These are the four books I picked up on my trip to Australia back in May. Of course I had to check out some bookstores on my first trip to Sydney and I think I ended up visiting 9 in total (check out my stories to see the mini bookstore vlog I made)!

It was so fun book shopping over there since majority of the covers are different from our US covers. I couldn't resist this pretty edition of PACHINKO, which I've already read. And when I picked up this copy of PEOPLE PERSON, I was so excited to see it because it wasn't out yet in the US at that time. I also bought two books that I hadn't heard of before I discovered them in the bookstore: IDOL and LOVE AND OTHER PUZZLES.
