In the Rain 2

Fashion bloggers- we won’t let a little rain stop us from taking pictures (we’re crazy, I know)! I met up with Chris, Alex and Francy before a beauty event a few weeks ago. We had some time to kill, so we spent it at Sephora, trying on various makeup products. That’s when I bought the NARS lip pencil that I love so much and am wearing in this post!

Do you guys have a good weekend? For those who celebrate, did you have any fun Easter plans? I didn’t do anything too special this weekend, but I did get a chance to briefly see a friend who was visiting from out of town and I finished the Grace memoir!

  • Can’t let a little rain stop you! hehe hopefully it’s only beautiful spring weather from here on out

  • you gals look so great, and the rainy streets make for such a great background!

  • I’m so impressed with your homemade scarf!! I want to learn how to knit, but just get too frustrated too easily! ha

    • Thanks Ashley! I really enjoy knitting- it can be really therapeutic, but also frustrating when I can’t get a stitch right! haha

  • I think nothing will stop bloggers from taking photos!! Don’t judge but this post makes me want to say you need an umbrella… eh. eh… ok I’m done :)

    • No judgement here- I still love that song! :)

  • How cute you look! Red is definitely one of your colors. I wish we could just skip Summer. I told my mom the other day that I already can’t wait for Fall! lol

    • Thank you Jenmarie! Haha, I myself just want it to be warm and sunny- is that too much to ask? :)

What kind of camera do you use? Your pictures always look so clear and high quality.

    • Canon 5D (super old original model, not Mark II or Mark III) and 50mm ƒ1.4 lens.

    • Also, obviously the camera is a huge factor, but there’s a large human component as well. The best camera in the world won’t help you if you don’t develop your eye for framing shots!
