Madewell Style Sessions

As I mentioned on Friday, Alex and I attended a shopping event at Madewell last week.  These styling sessions were taking place all around the country on the same night and Alex and I went to the one on 5th Avenue, which was hosted by Keiko Lynn.  The atmosphere was really fun because a DJ was spinning good music and there were sweet treats and cocktails for us to enjoy as we browsed the store!  You could also talk to the hostess, Keiko, if you had any styling questions.  I tried on one outfit that I really liked, but decided to be a good girl and not spend any money!

Did you have a good weekend? On Friday evening, my friend Phoebe invited some people over for dinner at her place, where she made pizzas for us from scratch!  Then on Saturday, I went to the Closet Raid Swap hosted by Kimberlee, which I think was a huge success (full post to come later!).  Saturday ended up being quite the day because after the swap, I went to Central Park to soak up the sun with some friends, ran home really quickly to change, and then went to my friend’s birthday party.  Then I spent most of yesterday catching up on sleep and tidying up my room (the place was a bit of a disaster after I cleaned my closet on Friday).  All in all, a full and fun weekend! :)

I can’t believe you managed to go to one of these and not buy anything! That takes some serious willpower! I’m jealous you got to go though, we don’t have a lot of fun events like these in Portland.
