I’ve been dreaming about switching to all-white bedding for a long time. I just love how light and crisp it looks. The thought that stopped me time and time again was, “How in the world would I keep them clean?”
Guys, I practically live in my bed. When I get home, I make a beeline straight for my bedroom and chances are that I’ll be in my bed, typing away on my laptop, until it’s time for lights out. I eat on my bed, I paint my nails on my bed, I drink coffee/tea on my bed…you get the idea.
Well, I don’t know what made me change my mind, but I finally decided to take the plunge and I picked up a set of white sheets over the weekend. I LOVE THEM. I had dark gray sheets before and the change to white sheets immediately transformed my bedroom into a lighter and brighter space. I also had pair of white/cream blankets that I picked up at Ikea a few months ago and they look so nice with my white bedding. I haven’t bought a new duvet cover yet because my duvet is currently stowed away for the summer. I’m thinking something white and textured, kind of like this.
I’m still nervous about keeping them clean, but it just means that I have to be a lot more careful around my bed (soooo, no more messy pasta sauce on my bed!). I think it’s worth it though- I’m just loving this little upgrade to my bedroom.

White sheets are awesome I am in love with mines. Favorite about my birthday is that I get to celebrate me and mine is around the corner.
There’s nothing quite like white sheets and bedding. My only tip is to get more than one set and rotate often for washing. My favorite thing about birthdays is setting goals for the year and reflecting on accomplishments and milestones from the last year. Traveling can be fun too!
My sheets and coverlet are also white. Just make it a point to wash them once a week and you’re all set. :-) Favorite thing about bdays: it’s an excuse to wear my flounciest dresses!
My sheets are white, and I’ve never had a problem keeping them look crisp! Our dog sleeps with us, though, so my duvet cover is blue (she has been known to throw up, and I didn’t want to get angry with her for ruining my bed cover!). Oh, and my favorite thing about birthdays: not cooking. :)
I know what you mean, I live, eat, drink, everything in my bed as well haha. Just a few months ago I switched my sheets for white and I have to tell you, it’s not as hard to clean as you might think. Go for it! :)

I really like the look of white sheets but I just find them too high maintenance even though I never eat or drink on my bed. I have light grey sheets with white polka dots instead :)

I would love to do all white bedding. So crisp, so clean. And then you can switch up the accents as much as you want. I have throw pillow ADD. I want a million of them and they never coordinate.
