![It's a very belated book haul! These are the four books I picked up on my trip to Australia back in May. Of course I had to check out some bookstores on my first trip to Sydney and I think I ended up visiting 9 in total (check out my stories to see the mini bookstore vlog I made)!

It was so fun book shopping over there since majority of the covers are different from our US covers. I couldn't resist this pretty edition of PACHINKO, which I've already read. And when I picked up this copy of PEOPLE PERSON, I was so excited to see it because it wasn't out yet in the US at that time. I also bought two books that I hadn't heard of before I discovered them in the bookstore: IDOL and LOVE AND OTHER PUZZLES.

If you could only get one picture of her, THAT was the perfect one to get. Seriously, I was swooning over it on Instagram. Haha. I went to a concert earlier this year by myself – something I’ve never done – and I took one or two (horrible) pictures for the sake of it, but then stopped because I knew I didn’t want to live the moment through a camera lens. It turned out to be a really personal, memorable experience and I’m glad I was able to fully immerse myself in it. Anyway! Loved reading about your day, it definitely looks and sounds like it was the perfect Sunday. (That photo of the kitty in the bookstore is still bliss, aww.)
Thank you! The phone dying was definitely poor planning on my part, but at least I was able to get that one picture in. Sometimes I forget how much fun it is to go to a concert, especially for an artist who you love :) And yes, that kitty was so cute and it was such a charming little bookstore.
It all looks so overwhelmingly amazing. When she flew across the stage, sparking like the (shooting) star she is, I might have actually wept:
1) because I DETEST glitter
2) because that girl has seen me at my worst and has brought me to a place where I can stand to be
