Listening to “Lullabies” by Yuna. It’s such a pretty song.
Watching Outlander. Head back to Wednesday’s post if you want to find out how I became hooked on this show!
Reading Outlander, Outlander, Outlander. I immediately went out and bought the first book and I’m about sixty pages in (right around where the first episode left off).
Eating the brownies I made for a work picnic that’s happening this afternoon. Let me just say that there are bits of toffee in them. Yummmmm (recipe here)
Anticipating my sister’s visit in September. It will be N and N in NYC, take 3!
Wearing my denim cutoffs from Gap (not sure if these are the exact same ones, but they’re very similar). If it’s the weekend and I’m out and about, it’s pretty much guaranteed that I’ll be wearing these shorts.
Planning to take a day off, maybe? Not counting holidays, this would be my first day off from work since January 2nd (gasp!).
Laughing at 11 hilarious examples of parents not understanding technology. Yesterday my mom accidentally Facetimed me and I heard her say, “I think my phone is talking to me!”
Loving this collegiate sweatshirt from Aeropostale. Can I still wear this even though I’m several years out of college?!
Admiring all of Rebecca’s pictures taken in Ireland. The backgrounds are so gorgeous and her outfits are lovely.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Anyone have fun weekend plans?

Whenever my mum uses my laptop, she always thinks it is also a touch screen and gets bewildered why it isn’t working. She still do it when I constantly remind her!! Haha

Haha, parents can be so funny! :)
My parents are the most low tech people that I know…I love it. Also, I think you’ve convinced me to read the outlander series.

So are mind- they are always years behind on the technological front. Yay! Let me know what you think if you do pick it up :)
You are so due a day off! I still need to check out the Outlander series. I saw a commercial for it last night and it look really good.

Hi!
My name is Ana but most the people (mainly online)
prefer to call me Anne. I am a snail mailer from Portugal and I decided to
update my blog. ‘Yes, and so what?’ Well, I wonder if you can help me spread
the word because I don’t have much foreign readers and I’d love to. So, go
check out my blog: http://annemeetstheworld.blogspot.pt/
if you want to.
I would greatly appreciate your help!
Oh by the way, I found your blog by coincidence and
I loved it. Keep up with the great work.
Best regards,
Anne.
Hi Anna- thanks so much for visiting and commenting! :)

Thanks!
Oh! I need to check that book out (and that show)!! And yay for your sis coming to town – you guys are going to have a lot of fun! I can’t wait to hear all about it :) And OMG I’m cracking up at the parents not understanding technology thing…so funny! My parents are kind of the same, but slowly catching up…And yes girl, you NEED day off! Jan 2nd?! LOL! Did you take time off for your sister?
Yeah, let me know what you think if you do! I think the book/show are pretty entertaining. Haha, parents and technology! My parents are always a couple years behind (which, as you know, is a really long time in technology). I’m planning to take time off when my sister visits, I just need her to book her ticket so I know the exact dates!
