In keeping with the theme of Wednesday’s post, I wanted to share a few holiday card ideas. I like to choose my holiday cards early so I have plenty of time to write and mail them out before Christmas. When I was younger, I always used to help my mom send out the family Christmas cards and now that I live on my own, I really enjoying sending out my own set of cards. I have a list of people that I want to send them to and I always like to have a few extras on hand in case I’ve forgotten anyone. Last year I went with custom holiday cards from Zazzle, but this year I think I’m going to purchase a set like one of the options above. If you want to participate in a holiday card exchange, Tracy and Jessica are organizing one and today is the last day to sign up!

This year I made my own cards again – my mom has an amazing stamp set up so I did about 60 cards in 8 different designs. It was super fun and I love how they turned out, but man did it ever take a long time!

I love that you make your own cards from year to year! I hope you’ll post pictures on your blog :)
These are all lovely and thank you again for sharing my card girl! :)
Happy to do so- wishing you all the best with your Etsy shop!
I adore the cards you sent last year. How fun! But, I also love the designs you chose for this year.
I love the sentimentality of cards. We have become so e-mail efficient that the process of mailing snail mail seems so novel and almost art-like now.
The card exchange sounds like a lot of fun! I just emailed to participate myself! =)

Thank you Nancy :) Me too- I really enjoy receiving cards in the mail. It’s such a fun surprise. Yay, I’m happy you signed up for the card exchange! I would love to exchange cards with you too- if you’re up for it, maybe you could email me your address? Let me know!
Hey that sounds like a great idea. I’d love to! Emailing you! =D
I think all of the cards are adorable. Options 5 and 7 are my favorites.

I think both of those are great too :) I’m very excited for your Christmas card exchange!
I love buying christmas cards. I think I accidentally ended up with three boxes for this year… I really like 11, possibly because it reminds me of the J.Crew tee shirts.
Oh. it is J.Crew. There you go.
Chic on the Cheap
