Bits and Pieces

First of all, I have to thank you guys for all of your wonderful feedback on the survey I posted last week! To be honest, I was a little afraid to post it because it’s hard to admit when you’re struggling and because I thought maybe no one would bother to fill it out! However, I got a lot of helpful responses and comments, so thank you again. I’m still working out the kinks, but for now I’m going to try and focus a little more on the content you guys enjoy the most. As far as posting schedule, I’m still going to aim for 3-5 posts a week, but I’m probably not going to have a rigid calendar (this is hard- the control freak in me likes to have a plan and stick to it!). Most importantly, I’m going to post when the inspiration is flowing and not worry about it on the days when it’s not.

A few people mentioned that they like when I show little tidbits of my life so I thought I would share a few of my favorite Instagrams from the last couple months. I think Instagram is perfect for sharing bits and pieces of daily life and that’s where I usually post little snapshots that never make it to the blog. If you’d like to follow along, you can find me here!

1. Reading in the park on a sunny day // 2. Gathering the tools to paint my nails // 3. TJ Maxx Haul (finally, some black flats!) // 4. Color Club Insta-This: my current favorite nail polish color // 5. #tbt Mother’s Day Edition: visting colleges with my mom back in 2007 // 6. Prepping my veggies for dinner // 7. Rope art installation in Madison Square Park // 8. CClub letter from Emmalene // 9. NYC Tangerine Creme + printed dress

i’m a firm believer of going against the grain and doing what’s best for you. it may not always be the “norm”, but it all works out in the end. i enjoy tidbits like this…you really can tell a story using just pictures.

Thank you! Yes, my blog has always been a little bit of everything and I’m not trying to take that away completely, just focus it a little :)

I only post when I’m inspired also… sometimes it’s twice a day, sometimes it’s twice a week. I just don’t feel like you can force it, if nothing’s coming to your head. I’m sure you will figure out what direction you want to take your blog, Nnenna. It’s always great and very inspirational!
